There are different mesothelioma symptoms to look out for. This is a form of cancer that can affect the lungs as well as the heart, depending on which form you have, as there are several. These are the symptoms of mesothelioma to look out for and be aware of.

When it comes to peritoneal, there are various warning signs. Some of these include night sweats or fever. You should also look for drastic weight loss that is unexplained. The abdomen may be swollen or there may also be pain felt there. Other signs to look for are anemia, nausea and any lumps on the abdomen.

A few of the peritoneal signs resemble those of pleural, except it is felt in different area. The lumps and pain appear and can be experienced in the chest instead of the abdominal area. There is also an unexplained weight loss, fever, and fatigue that may be experienced. The main thing of pleural is a dry persistent cough which can sometimes have blood.

Another form but not so common form of cancer is pericardial. It has similar warning signs that pleural does such as chest pain, night sweats or fever and fatigue. There may also be difficulty breathing even when the person is laying down and resting. Pericardial is distinguished from pleural because of the irregular heart beat or heart palpitation.

Testicular is another form of cancer that is not all that common. In fact it is so rare that there is not much known about this form of cancer. One thing that is known is that there may be lumps which may be painful, but not in all cases.

These are the various mesothelioma symptoms to look for. There are several of these signs that will not appear until 20 years after the exposure to asbestos dust. Remember that if you notice any symptoms of mesothelioma you should seek a doctor immediately for a check up.
