Gym Routine

Thanks for the post, Bernard Vasquez

Ok so here is my usual routine that I really try to stick to:

1. Fill my water bottle
2. Pack my gym bag
3. Turn on my home alarm system provided by monitoring ADT VA
4. drive to the gym (24 hour fitness)
5. cardiovascular work out
6. muscle building work out
7. cool down
8. shower
9. Drive back home
10. Eat a healthy little snack

Steps 1 to 4 are pretty self explanatory. For step 5 I like to mix it up. I will spend time on different machines for a total of 45 minutes. I alternate between rowing, running, stepping and bikes. This works out different muscles while still doing a cardiovascular work out. I also don't get bored by being stuck on the same machine for 45 minutes.

For step 6 I also like to mix it up. I get bored easily and so if I change up my routine on a regular basis it keeps me entertained. I will alternate between arms and legs. When I do arms I also do my back and shoulders and when I do legs I will also do my abdominal exercises.

I am pretty fit right now so I try to maintain what I have going without adding too much pressure on myself to lose more weight or gain more muscle. So far I have been completing my routine successfully for 32 weeks.
